A note on tax-deductibility
The Autheo Foundation has filed IRS Form 1023 for 501(c)(3) public-charity recognition, and the application is currently under IRS review. Once determination is granted, qualifying donations will be tax-deductible in the United States, retroactive to the Foundation's incorporation date. We will activate our Every.org giving page at that time. Until then, the giving options below are available and your support is sincerely appreciated.

Coming soon: online giving via Every.org
Once the Foundation receives its 501(c)(3) determination letter, we will activate online giving through Every.org, a nonprofit-built giving platform that charges no platform fees and disburses to nonprofits weekly via Stripe at no cost.
Every.org supports bank transfers, debit and credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, stock, donor-advised funds, and cryptocurrency. Standard third-party processor fees apply (for example, bank and stock gifts incur 0% fees; Visa or Mastercard incur 2.2% + $0.30).
What your gift funds
- Grants for developers, researchers, and teams building open-source public goods on the Autheo network. See the Programs page.
- The Ambassador Program, which is actively recruiting regional leaders to organize meetups, onboard developers, and represent Autheo at conferences. Learn more.
- Education, including curriculum, documentation, and learning resources for technical and non-technical contributors.
- Open-source stewardship, including security review, dependency maintenance, and long-term sustainability of the public infrastructure that the ecosystem depends on.
Transparency
The Foundation is governed by an independent five-member Board of Directors under Wyoming nonprofit law (W.S. Title 17, Chapter 19). Once 501(c)(3) determination is granted, we will publish IRS Form 990 annually along with a plain-English annual report covering programs, grant outcomes, and treasury activity.
